  1. AFIP agent

Hello, I received your SMS about a €849.99 transaction I did not make. What should I do?

  2. Fictional counterpart

Hello Madam, this is Marc Lefèvre from your bank’s security department. We have blocked a suspicious €849.99 transaction. Your account is currently exposed: to protect your funds, we need to move them temporarily to a secure account.

  3. AFIP agent

All right, thank you for explaining. What happens next, specifically?

  4. Fictional counterpart

This is a standard fraud-department procedure. You need to act quickly; the fraudsters have access to your online banking. Do not tell anyone about this procedure, even at a branch.

  5. AFIP agent

Very well, I agree. How should I make the payment? Can you send me the bank details (IBAN)?

  6. Fictional counterpart

Here is the secure account for the protection transfer: IBAN FR83 •••• •••• •••• •••• •••• S49 – BIC LU••••••P1. Transfer your entire balance within the hour; it is urgent. If there is a problem, call me directly on +33 •••••••34, the fraud department’s direct line.

THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

Clear answers.

Is this a live agent?

No. You are viewing prerecorded fictional transcripts. The animation starts no conversation and calls neither the AFIP backend nor a model. The English transcript is a translation of the French synthetic recording.

Does AFIP already contact fraudsters?

No. There are currently no real conversations: the module runs only in simulation. Any real-world activation requires legal review and each institution’s agreement.

Is it lawful to converse with fraudsters?

The arrangement must be reviewed for each institution: purpose, legal basis, proportionality and the rules applicable in France and Morocco. The pilot does not establish legal approval or compliance.

What about the Arabic interface?

French remains the priority. Arabic and right-to-left layouts are included in the product, but await linguistic review before customer use.

Is AFIP connected to FNC-RF?

No. AFIP aims to document information for verification before a report is submitted. Reporting remains the institution’s decision; no automatic integration is claimed. FNC-RF was launched by Banque de France on 7 May 2026.
